Oberammergau 2010 = Margaret and Leo McNicholas wish to organize a Pastoral Area trip to see the famous Passion Play in 2010. Cost of the trip will be about 1000.00. Lourdes Youth Pilgrimage 2009

Lourdes Youth Pilgrimage 2009 = 24th July to 1st August 2009, age 15-25, cost 370.00 = 450 young people on nine coaches from around the Archdiocese will make the thousand-mile trip to Lourdes next year. If you would like to be one of them, application forms can be downloaded from www.animateyouth.org from Mon 13th Oct. As coaches fill up very quickly you are advised to apply as soon as possible.

Leyland Aglow International = Next Meeting = Monday 12 January

Leyland Aglow International would like to invite all women to our next meeting at Farington Lodge on Monday 12th January 2009 at 7 p.m. Our speaker will be Lynn Mort, a Lancashire girl who has broadened her horizons after a near death experience. Lynn now ministers in many countries bringing Gods Healing and Hope. The meal will be either Braised Lamb or Tuna Salad (or special diet by arrangement) at the new cost of 8.50. First Holy Communion Preparation

There will be a meeting of all Catechists who help with First Holy Communion on Thursday 8th January at 6.30 p m in the Priory library. To those who helped last year we hope you can help again this year.

New helpers would be most welcome no previous experience needed just come for the above meeting and we will explain all that is needed.

Parish Celebration Mass followed by AGM

Friday 30th January 2009. The Parish Pastoral Council will invite all groups to take part, all parishioners to come and then enjoy a celebration in the Parish Centre. Keep the date free!
